CashTokens — the native token layer BCH introduced in 2023. From indexing and naming through display and spending the assets themselves, BWallet supports the whole path.
Native CashAddr, token-aware addresses included
Sends and receives with BCH’s own address format, recognises token-aware addresses so CashTokens can’t be sent somewhere that would burn them, and still accepts old legacy-format addresses when someone pastes one.
Fungible CashTokens — send, not just view
Hold and transfer fungible CashTokens directly from the wallet. Amounts are converted with string-based fixed-point maths, not floating point, so a token with 8 decimals can’t quietly round on its way out.
CashToken NFTs, capabilities and all
Reads the full NFT model — immutable, mutable and minting capabilities, plus each token’s commitment data — rather than flattening every CashToken into a number.
BCMR metadata resolution
On-chain, a CashToken is only a raw integer — the name, symbol and decimals live in the Bitcoin Cash Metadata Registry. BWallet resolves them so amounts display correctly, and falls back to the raw category for unregistered tokens instead of showing a wrong number.
Indexed through Chaingraph
The block explorers most wallets rely on don’t index CashTokens at all. BWallet queries Chaingraph, the BCH-native indexer, so your token balances are real chain state rather than a best guess.
Separate BCH and CashToken histories
Plain BCH transfers and CashToken movements each get their own history stream with full transaction detail, plus BCH message signing for proving address ownership.

We check before you sign
Most wallets only sign — they don’t judge whether that signature is actually safe. BWallet runs a local security audit before every signature request, entirely on-device. Nothing about your transaction is ever uploaded.
Blind signing, blocked
eth_sign requests that can’t be parsed into readable content are blocked outright, no exceptions — historically one of the most common ways wallets get drained.
Unlimited-approval warnings
An unlimited-allowance Approve, or a bulk NFT approval, to an unfamiliar address triggers an early warning — the classic “approve once, get emptied later” trap.
Disguised-transfer detection
Catches the bait-and-switch where the screen shows you sending, but the contract actually moves someone else’s assets — caught, it’s blocked outright.

Frequently asked questions
What makes BWallet’s Bitcoin Cash support different?
Most multi-chain wallets treat BCH as a plain payment coin, if they support it at all — an address and a balance. BWallet handles the whole CashTokens layer: fungible tokens and NFTs, sending as well as receiving, NFT capabilities and commitments, names and decimals resolved through the BCMR registry, and balances indexed through Chaingraph because mainstream block explorers don’t index CashTokens at all.
Can I actually send CashTokens, or only receive them?
Both. Fungible CashTokens and CashToken NFTs can be sent from the wallet, to token-aware addresses. Amounts are converted with string-based fixed-point maths rather than floating point, so a token with a high decimal count can’t silently round on the way out.
What is BWallet’s relationship with BCH CLUB?
BCH CLUB (bchclub.org) is an ecosystem fund investing in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem, and BWallet is one of the projects in its portfolio. The fund backs the project with capital, resources and ecosystem connections; the product itself is designed and built by the BWallet team.
What does “self-custody” actually mean?
It means your private key and recovery phrase are encrypted and stored only on your own device — BWallet’s servers never store them and have no way to recover them for you. It also means that if you lose your recovery phrase, nobody, including us, can get your assets back. Back it up carefully.
Can BWallet see my assets or transaction history?
No. Signing and broadcasting both happen entirely on your device — we never handle or retain your private key. Anything that does sync to the cloud, like your address book, is encrypted locally with a key derived from your own recovery phrase before it’s ever uploaded; our servers only ever store ciphertext.
Why don’t I need to register an account to use the wallet?
Creating or importing a wallet, and sending or receiving assets, don’t depend on any account system at all. You’re only prompted for an email code when you use something that genuinely needs cloud coordination — chat, rewards, or address-book sync across devices — and even then, there’s no separate login password to set.
Will the security audit block my normal transfers?
No. The audit only judges the content of what you’re signing — blind signing, unlimited approvals, disguised transfers, and the like. Normal transfers and interactions with known protocols aren’t affected. When something is flagged, you’re told exactly why, not just blocked outright.
Does BWallet support hardware wallets?
Not yet — it’s on our roadmap.
Is chat and calling end-to-end encrypted?
Chat and calls run on the Matrix protocol and are currently in beta. End-to-end encryption for chat is on our near-term roadmap, not yet shipped — keep that in mind for anything sensitive until it lands.
